Design March (March 2019)

  • Weekend event with four parallel workshops conducted by the experts. 
  • Inspiring, making students/participants aware of the plethora of applications for design.
  • Game design /Automobile styling /Sculpture from metal /Packaging design.

Design for a Billion (January 2018)

  • Cross-disciplinary event that discussed the implications of design for mass impact. 
  • Two-week programme for the students of Parsons School of Design, The New School (TNS), New York. 
  • Total of 28 students and two faculty members from TNS. 
  • Proposed five innovations for social needs- Saaf Mahavari (clean menstruation), Trans Potatoes, Village Wash, The Marble Jar, and Sachet Cachet.

Invent@IITGN (Yearly event)

  • Invention Factory® @IIT is a six-week summer program in which thirty IIT students from across India design Prototype, Pitch and Patent inventions
  • Teams compete for the “Best Inventions” with functioning prototypes, providing solutions to societal or consumer needs

IITGN-JAIST (December 2018)

  • An international seminar in collaboration with JAIST (Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology). 
  • Theme of “Design Interventions for Behavioral Change”.
