IITGN Inauguration of Maker Bhavan at IITGN
With the mission to promote active learning, creativity, and innovation at the institute, IITGN inaugurated ‘Maker Bhavan’, a state-of-the-art academic makerspace, on April 9. The space was inaugurated by Dr Hemant Kanakia, Founder of the Maker Bhavan Foundation (a California-based charity), who has sowed the seeds of creating this makerspace at IITGN. Damayanti Bhattacharya, CEO, Maker Bhavan Foundation, Parimal Karani, Businessman and a long-time well-wisher of IITGN, and Prof Amit Prashant, Director, IIT Gandhinagar were also present on occasion.
